WELCOME TO THE TRAQ GROUP WEB SITE

The TRAQ Group (Transportation by Rail across Quebec) is a non-profit association dedicated to supporting rail transportation and industry interests in the Quebec province. The Group is in charge of publishing the informative newsletter Transport sur rail au Quebec, commonly known as TRAQ Magazine, issued every 2 months.

Among the other Group achievements, noteworthy are the annualRailway Symposium, and the rail archives where is stored and can be browsed a large variety of railway-related printed material.

On this website, you can also find information on the upcoming Group activities, various useful resourcesas well as the names and addresses of the members in charge who can answer any questions you may have regarding Group activities. Thank you for visiting us !

NEWS

The TRAQ Group 2008 Calendar, a testimony to the major events surrounding the development of railways in Quebec, is now available for $10 from the TRAQ Bazaar.

The TRAQ Group is looking for railway station photographs in order to complete its Quebec Railway station collection. Please check if you can help us !

The TRAQ Group is selling many railway-related documents at the TRAQ Bazar. Memberships and other items can now be paid for using Master Card or Visa credit cards.

We invite members to submit their best railway-related photographs. We are looking for photographs of locomotives, equipment, stations, etc. Send us your photographs to the Group addresses with the mention "Website". The subject, place, date and photographer should be mentioned when known.

The list of railway documents available for reference at the TRAQ Group's Rail archives library is now online.

The Group's Rail archive library is open to visitors from 10:00 to 16:00 on the first Saturday of every month. See the event schedule for the full calendar.

The next issue of TRAQ Magazine (#56 March-April 2008) will be sent out during the week of February 18 2007. Don't miss out this issue sponsored by ???.
